Oh, hello! There are terms in this project that you may not be familiar with or are used in a different way. Here’s a list of those words that you might encounter, and we also provided their definition for your convenience. 

Bayanihan

is a Filipino custom that derived from the Filipino word “bayani” which means hero.

Backer

is a person who solicits or donates his/her money to the crowdfunder.

Crowdfunder

is a person or group that asks for financial help through crowdfunding.

Crowdfunding

is an online platform wherein the crowd provides fund to support a project or cause.

Tulong

is a Filipino word which means help in English.

Tayo

is a Filipino term which is equivalent to a third person pronoun which is either, “we”  or “us”.
